This is an adorable young hognose snake exhibiting natural behavior. They’re not the smartest snakes in the world, and they’ll happily spend all day exploring the same place over and over if you let them. Mine loves to weave between my fingers like this.

I still think about The Young Pope sometimes. I get this weird soft and sad feeling in my chest whenever I remember any of the scenes or when I listen to the soundtrack. For some reason that show has stuck with me ever since I watched it, and I sometimes find myself missing it dearly. It’s such a weird but compelling show.
